I bought a 2016 Chevy Trax back on the 18 of Dec 2016. almost immediately we noticed a problem when you would put the car in reverse. the grid lines did not show up that help you judge the distance when backing, etc etc.
The radio would not come on sometimes, the screen would freeze. The car was taken to the Dealership not once not twice, but 7 times for the same issue.Yes loaners were given to us to drive while the car was in the shop. each time the car had to have an update installed. on the 4th time a new radio had to be installed. the fifth time a whole new program was written for the my-link system for the car. the sixth time the had to update again. and the 7th time going in we were told GM has no fixes for this problem. the problem lies in the app itself. Ok why wasn't we told about this the 1st time? they stated they had to try all avenues to try to fix it. So now we have a brand new car that still has the same problem with the back up camera not showing the grid lines when putting the car in reverse. we asked the Dealership to replace the car. they said they can't do that. but they did say we could either trade the car in or let the car go back to the bank. neither one is a option. I want answers!!!!!!!! GM has assigned a adviser for this issue. and supposedly they have elevated the issue, and will get back to me? Someone please HELP!
