The electric door works occasionally or not depends on the day I guess. Sometimes it closes halfway then stops other times it won't budge at all.

I have a 2001 Chevy venture. The right automatic sliding door doesn't always open or shut all the way. Even if it looks closed the alert noise when put into gear will go off, It is very loud and annoying! Then sometimes when you try to open it it will stay closed. So you have to manual open it your self which is annoying and it strains the motor on the door. Chevy is junk! this is a small problem compared to the rest!

Update from Nov 22, 2010: The motor on the automatic door has been getting worse over the years but It just suddenly stopped working. Know it is really hard to open manually. Selling car very soon, so happy!!!!!
