Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety. Notes: Since the Chrysler 200 first hit the streets, owners across the U.S. have complained about how their “dream car” quickly turned into a complete nightmare because of how the engine dies suddenly while driving.

Takata recall went into hays dealership parts department in lawrenceville, ga on Monday morning 10/31/16 with the recall notice and ask if I can set up an appointment to have the air bag and seat belt fix and they said there is nothing they can do at this time until Chrysler can figure out on how to repair the problem. What kind of crap is this they cannot figure out on how to ¿fix the problem¿ what about the lemon law on vehicles this problem is one of them. Chrysler advertise along with other car dealers on how safe their cars are which it seem none of the cars are safe anymore due to poor craftsmanship make cheap to cut cost no matter whom it will effect and way overpriced, if you brought a wash machine, dryer or refrigerator if they cannot fix it they will replace it with a new one or any defect item the company will fix it or replace it. Chrysler needs to step up and do the honorable thing ¿fix the problem¿ or replace the vehicle before it is to late. Action needs to be taken asap! I tried everything to get the my vehicle fix and getting no where with this waiting to 2023 is not the answer here.

The manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The contact was informed that the repair would be available the first quarter in 2017 at the earliest. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

On July 4 the ABS light came on for no reason several times, staying on for long periods of time. There was a clicking noise in the steering colum and wheel. It sounded like it was coming from the left side. On July 5, I was driving to work on a back road with several curves. The ABS light came on again. Clicking was still happening as well. All of a sudden I felt like I was sliding on a sheet of ice. I swirved from side to side and could not get my car under control. Then my vehicle was on two wheels on the passenger side. Which then slide off the road and down a embankment turning several times and landing on the roof of the car. The air bags never deployed. I am now suffering with a broken collar bone due to the accident.

I am afraid of a malfunction if I have an accident. They light stays on all the time until you shut the car off. This started last June of 2015 and has happened every day since.

I contacted teterboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge, in late June 2014 to make an appointment for a safety recall defect. I had received a notice sometime in June of 2014. I contacted the service department by telephone, it took three calls to try to reach the service manager. On the third phone call I was told not to bring the car in for this free repair. I was told in the second phone call that the service manager was in a meeting. After going to another Chrysler dealer the service manager from teterboro Chrysler called and offered to fix the defect. He said he heard from NHTSA. I feel that teterboro Chrysler had a bad attitude and they only changed their mind after I brought a letter to the district office of congressman scott garrett.
