I've had this care for 3 1/2 years and have loved it. This is the first winter this has happened. If its under 40* F and I start it and immediately start driving, it will die upon deceleration or acceleration within a few hundred feet. When it dies, no check engine light or anything comes on. The battery light illuminates and a message on the dash reads "shift into park."
The power steering completely stops too, making it very hard to pull out of traffic. I shift into park, then press the start button. It sounds like it is trying to start. After about 15-30 seconds it starts. If I allow the car to warm up for at least 5 minutes before driving, it doesn't stall.
