Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Takata recall. The repairs are taking too long. I drive with my 10-month old in the car and am concerned with the life threatening/serious injury possibility if involved in an accident where the airbag is engaged! I would like an alternative recourse at the expense of the manufacturer, such as a loaner car or something! my family's life is at risk every time we drive the car. I have two cars affected by this recall and will submit two complaints. Thank you.

Takata recall - I currently have two recalls on my car. One is for the driver side air bag and the other for the passenger side. I am on a waiting list at the dealership for one of the parts but the other part has not become available yet. The dealership was not able to give me an eta on the part that is supposedly available - only that I have been put on a very long waiting list. I wouldn't be as worried about it if it weren't as dangerous a recall. I have children and only one vehicle. Am I supposed to just drive the car and hope for no accidents until they get the parts they need?
