On 11/15/2022, the consumer had a scheduled service appointment at Hendrick Chrysler motor vehicle dealership located at 1628 Montgomery Hwy, Hoover, Alabama, regarding stop drive recall ZD1, S43, and R25. The consumer was directed to sign insurance related paperwork to have the recall service performed. The consumer explained that the service was related to a recall and would not sign any insurance related paperwork. The consumer was advised by service personnel that the recall service would be performed and the motor vehicle was left with the service department to have the recall service performed. Shortly thereafter, the consumer was advised via telephone call that the recall service would not be performed. The consumer does not believe that any insurance paperwork is applicable to have recall service performed. Because the motor vehicle dealership and/or the motor vehicle manufacturer have been unwilling to provide service regarding the stop drive recall(s), the consumer is requesting guidance from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for resolution.

My car poses a safety hazard to me and any others who ride in the car with me, due to the defective Takata airbags that were placed in my vehicle under the Takata airbag recall. Without my consent or knowledge, Dominion Chrysler of Bedford, VA replaced both front Takata airbags (driver and passenger side) with 2 more defective Takata airbags! How is this legal or safe!" I only found out about this dirty trick, by reading an article online, and then I called my dealership and they confirmed that they did indeed replace my defective Takata airbags with 2 more defective Takata airbags and that I would get safe, non-Takata airbags in the future, under the recall. When? They did not know. I had the first airbag replaced in 2016 and the second one replaced in 2017. When will I actually receive safe, non-Takata airbags under this recall? My vehicle is NOT SAFE TO DRIVE and yet Chrysler and The United States government purposely put defective and potentially fatal Takata airbags in my car, not once but twice? I don't have another vehicle to drive and I can't afford to discard this one and buy another potentially dangerous vehicle. I am nervous about driving this vehicle every time. So what am I supposed to do? What are millions of others supposed to do? Neither the FCA or NHTSA ever informed me that I would be getting a second set of defective Takata airbags under this recall. How many others are just as unaware as I was? It is now July 2022 and I need safe non-Takata airbags, like I was promised, under this nationwide recall, NOW. All unsafe Takata airbags need to be replaced today under this recall. How many more people need to be injured or die, due to these defective Takata airbags" No amount of money can compensate for loss of health or life. Please do what is right and what you promised the American People you would do! UPHOLD AND ENFORCE THE LAW AND GIVE US SAFE NON-TAKATA AIRBAG REPLACEMENTS!

I was driving down the road and the car just shut off all at once. I immediately put emergency flashers on and crank it up only for it to do the same thing 3 or 4 more times before it starts to drive normal as if nothing ever happened. This happens while I am driving down the street, turning or whenever it feel like cutting off.

Takata recall. I purchase a 2006 Chrysler 300 C from uxuray auto in Georgia. Not knowing that there was a recall on said vehicle. On June 6th 2016 on my way to bury my mother in SC. The air bags exploded in the car as was approching a red light in barnwell SC. Blinding me, causing me to side swipe the car stop at the red light in front of me. I reported the incident to Chrysler. Chrysler after investigation agree to repair my car with a fifty dollor a day rental. I was taken to the hospital in augusta ga, by amblunace. A Mr. Aubin attorny from Chrysler later states that the car would not be repair until the bodily injury claim was settled. This happen on June 7 2016, to this date Chrysler have not repair our car. In order to get my car repaired I had to sign a harmless release for Chrysler. Under duress I signed the release. One whole year Chrysler have not repaired this car. I requested that they buy the car back/ and pay me for lost of use of our vehcile, . he said in order to get the car repaired/ I must sign a release of all harms. No attorney would take this case, they say it is not worth that much for them. 1 whole year and Chrysler has our car, we were force into buying another car yet still paying for the Chrysler. Is this the law" can Chrysler get away with this? forcing us to do what we don;T want to do? Chrysler has offered me 8.000 to sign the harmless release and then they will give me my car back after one year of suffering, is this right" help me please, we have no one else to turn to for help. No one.
