Specific problem: Heath ventilation system. The specific problem with all of the Chrysler 300 2010 models are the heating (or) interior heating system. Straight to the point. When the motor is running, whether your are traveling or parked idle (motor running) for about an hour or two, the vehicle would start getting warm and you would feel the heat coming from the arm rest and under the dash board even though you have the heat turned off, and especially in the summer months. Here is the catch. Say you are traveling on the highway or local streets for two (2) hours, you would feel the arm rest very warm and your feet are warmer than usual. If you lift the arm rest up and stick your hand inside the pocket you would feel the heat coming out of there. You also feel the heat coming from under the dash board by the brake and gas pedals. When traveling and breathing-in the heat you would feel like you are tired and want to sleep, when in fact you don't. this is happening in all of the above mentioned model, 2010 of Chrysler. I first noticed it in 2011 when I got the first vehicle, and then in 2016 when I got a second (2nd) one (chrys. 300 2010) (used). When air traveling I usually rent the same type of vehicle from rental car companies and the same thin is happening with the heat coming out of the arm rest and the from the dash board (floor). I meant to write about this matter for a while, but only now I am getting to it. In closing, here is what your Agency should do in conducting your own survey. Have your drivers or any employees that has the above make, model and year vehicle, travel in it for two (2) hours, then have them feel the arm rest, they would see how warm it is. Have them lift up the arm rest and place their hand inside, ask them if it is hot or warm. Ask them how warm is their feet there at the brake and gas pedals. You would agree that something is wrong.

My Chrysler 300 wireless ignition node ( win) exhibiting a binding condition of the solenoid latch. As a result of the defect my key can be removed from the ignition switch (win module) prior to placing in park. I have to use force to put key in ignition and use force to pull key out of ignition. I spoke with a Chrysler customer care representative name michelle and she told me that my vehicle does not fall within the build date for this recall even though it has similar traits. Michelle told me that my vehicle was built on December 10, 2009 on the 19th hour. The recall only applies to vehicles built January 18- March 11, 2010.

Just bought car and my husband is in the service so the car is used rarely but at least once a week, hardly put any miles on it either...yet having issues; not starting. Jumped it and went and was told I needed a new battery, replaced battery, a few days later engine light comes on, told it was a code P0456 which 80% of the time is a loose gas cap, tightened it, said light should go off in a few days, went to open and start car in a few days, nothing, no turnover, no clicking, no nothing! though tit was the fob key, so locked everything up and went to get other fob key and now I am totally locked out of car, can't even use metal keys or get in trunk to try to jump (battery in trunk, no key entry), can't open hood from outside either. Called dealer, spoke with several supposedly knowledgeable service person and others and no one has ever heard of such a thing ever but will gladly charge me a lot fo money to have it towed in and then they can try to figure out what is wrong with ti ($$$$). just want to buy another car at this point, when can I call this a lemon"??"

My 2010 Chrysler 300 which bought brand-new and im the original owner...dashboard separating on both sides causing the ac vents to break and lift. Chrysler recognizes that there is a problem as a manufacture defect. Yet they would like the consumer to pay a high deductible to replace the dashboard knowing it's a manufacture defect.

Vehicle stalled for no reason, taken to dealership and no apparent problem except needing fuel when fuel gauge showed 1/4 tank available.second incident today 10/29/12 vehicle stalled again. Fuel warning light didn't turn on because it showed tank had 1/4. apparently vehicle needed fuel. When stopped at gas station. Didn't fill up completely but dispenser will stop as is tank was full. Wouldn't allow to fill tank to the max.
