The front passenger door panel has separated at the top leaving an open gap between the window and the door. It appears that the rubber molding was not manufactured properly and as heat from the sun warms up the molding, it deforms, pulls up and separates. The problem has continued to worsen over time and is approaching the door locking mechanism. It is also now possible for water to get to the inside of the door. This is a NON-MOVING PART that was defective at the time of manufacture, but took time to malfunction.

My 300 the engine light came on took to dealer to get looked at they changed oxygen sensor then about 2 weeks of owning the car my engine shut off while driving on freeway coast off to the shoulder to get out of traffic without being hit (scary) you have to come to complete stop put in park foot on brake restart push button took back where I bought the car family Toyota take it to don davis Chrysler so I did worked on it for three days they think they got it fixed a month later going into dallas it stalled out again it was rush to get to bi took back to dealer, don davis they had three days they did not know what was causing it they thought had it fixed so about 3 weeks later it happens again engine shuts off no warning so and pull off to shoulder couldn't miss time at work around Feb 15th 2018 it happened again was traveling about 60 miles an hour on interstate 30 and traffic truck on my tail and my car shut off imagined to escape getting hit been going on for months at least 9 to 10 times this has happened back to don davis for three days called me they did not know what was causing it and tried to sell me a different car, ,,because this was a death trap I said no I love my car fix it I refused to take it back three hours later dealership called me back and said we think we have it fixed come pick it upso I did only to discover it did it again and again and againi do nt feel safe having any family member in my car for fear of putting their lifein danger so just recently I took to auto nation to get air bag recall had them check it out they said they think it is catalytic converter but did not K its out of warranty and G cost me 3200 dollars I feel if I keep driving this car I am going become a statistic get killed, ,,crazy, ,,,,, happens when vehicle is in motion I will put the date of the been probably around Sept 10th 2017.

I was driving straight forward at about 20mph on a bridge where the road was clear with no ice or snow and my car did a 360 spin out in the middle of traffic. That day I took my car into discount tires where I was told I had 5/32 thread which is fairly good I still went ahead and got new tires but still felt like my tires was not moving like it should. I then took it into a mechanic shop which was montes car shop in North mpls we did a test drive and realized my front wheels were not engaging the only tires that were spinning was the back wheels. So at that point they ran a ABS diagnostic there were codes no showing regarding my AWD at all, so they did a full inspection and stated it was a blown MINIfuse that operates the front diff actuator and replaced it. I've driven the car and I am not sure if the problem has been fixed not only that the car is not giving off any sensors or codes regarding my AWD not working which is very dangerous and life threatening there should be some way for the car to have sensors notifying me the my all wheel drive is not working or engaging.

Driver has been experiencing problems with backup camera since the car was purchased in 2016. Originally, the camera would just go in and out. A black screen would show up on the monitor once the car was put into reverse. This was mentioned to the dealership multiple times, but the camera would never act up when I was at the dealership. The driver was also told that an update would eventually solve the problem, which it did not. When the car is put into reverse now, the picture on the monitor from the back up camera is actually flipped on the monitor. So what is actually on the right side of the car, shows up on the left side. Recently when getting recalls for the vehicle taken care of, the driver found out that the back up camera was previously repaired in 2015. This was prior to the car being purchased in 2016. These problems were brought up to the dealership, telegraph Chrysler Jeep Dodge in taylor, mi. The back up camera was brought up to the dealership when the car was under extended warranty, now it is possible that the warranty has expired. This is a safety concern as the perception in the back up camera could deceive the driver.

My complaint is about my defective exhaust pipe system on my 2014 Chrysler 300 that caught on fire on a city street on the way home. I had immediately contacted a tow truck company to take it to a Chrysler repair shop to see exactly what was the problem and it was exactly what I thought it was. So they showed me the exhaust pipe when I saw it I was shocked to see this because I bought this car brand new it is not five years old yet. The price they charged me to fix the defective was $1,430 to fix something that I had no control over. So if you could please implement a safety recall I will greatly appreciate it. The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler 300. While driving 2 mph, the vehicle shifted into park, stalled, and failed to restart. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer (pamby motors Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, 665 danbury rd ridgefield, ct 06877, 203-403-0115) where it was diagnosed that the engine control module wires melted and the cruise control needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The failure mileage was 189,000.

I submitted reimbursement for the repair of a faulty alternator. Chrysler said they were in the process of filing a recall on the alternators on Chrysler 300's but the VIN # of my vehicle was not on the recall list. I requested Chrysler include my car as it incurred the alternator failure. I called NHTSA who gave me a compliant # -11030363. I subsequently received a letter from randy reid at NHTSA requesting a copy of my invoice. I mailed it to him October 30, 2017 in the envelope he provided. To date, I have not heard back from anyone. I spent $767.95 on September 26,2017 repairing the alternator. The alternator failed as I was travelling on a highway in converse Texas doing 50mph in the center lane. My car went completely dead and without power. I had to glide my car off the highway with other vehicles traveling 50 mph or faster past me. I felt lucky no one hit me. Once on the side of the highway, it smelled like my car was on fire. This was a very dangerous situation for me.

I purchased this Chrysler 300 in 2014 and paid cash 25,000 and only have 17,000 because I fear for my life to drive it. On several occasion my vehicle has stopped while in motion without warning and the gear slips from drive to park. While exiting my vehicle after I have parked my car slips into drive causing me to stumble. On two separate occasions I had to call a tow truck to aid me because my vehicle would stop with warning. Once while driving on a highway my car stopped while traveling at a high rate of speed and went into park on its own, I notified the towing company and it had to be towed to a dealership. While at a dealership I was notified of a defect and they stated they would fix it. On a second occasion while attempting to park in my driveway the car continued to put itself in park and while trying to reverse my car went into park. After several attempts I again contacted a towing company where they towed me to another dealership where they again attempted to fix the transmission. Again after 2 years I am still fearful to drive my vehicle. I have made attempts to contact the dealership to no avail. My vehicle continues to move from drive to park and vise versa. Please help I have no other means of transportation, my husband has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and I need this vehicle in order to work and take him to his doctor's appointment. At this rate we will both need doctors if I'm not dead first. This is my final attempt to get assistance with vehicle maintenance and repairs. Although the dealership has made attempts to remedy this situation, I continue to have problems with the transmission. I am completely terrified to drive my vehicle each time I drive.

Vehicle purchased in Sept 2014, within a month and only driving it 550 miles I was parking vehicle, at the time didnt realize how it happened but vehicle went into reverse and went into a pole in parking lot. Repair to back bumper at dealer was $791.59. I paid and just went on. Then I get a recall notice saying this could happen, driver error. Now I get a recall saying it is something they are going to repair in vehicle. I contacted Fiat chysler to discuss being reimbursed for this repair and they are saying they would not cover it.
