The engine knock only began after the car stopped. The car sounded like it was running smooth after several attempts to start it. Triple A came out and boosted the battery. When the car moved forward about a foot, it stopped and would not move. Others have said that it sounded like the gas was not getting to the engine. AAA tow driver indicated that he thought the problem was transmission.

There may be a problem with the battery, which was described as working at 25% and the transmission was given as another possible failure

I've had a1995 Dodge Interpid, i loved that car. the engine and transmission went out, so i bouT ght a 1999 Chrysler LHS,well i fell in love with that car even more than the intrepid. i had no problems out of the LHS. So i bought my 19 year old daughter a1999 Chryler Concorde es. Well my daughter wrecked the concorde 1 month ago, the engine in my LHS started knocking 3 days ago, and it the transmission is jerking, well i guess i'm in for a rude awakining. I guess i'm glad my daughter wrecked the concorde now i'll only have to buy one engine and transmission instead of two.! the LHS, and concorde are some very beautiful cars, the style is elegent, which is what made me buy them. BUT I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CRYSLER IN MY LIFE! DOES ANYONE WANT TO TAKE THIS PIECE OF SH*T OFF MY HANDS?
