During rain and when snow reaches the wheel, the check ABS light will come on along with another idiot light. It affects the traction control and the traction control won't fully function nor will ABS.

I've read somewhere that there is a poor design to the brake area where a sensor is susceptible to moisture.

Well, I was told by the mechanic the the front, driver's side ABS speed control sensor was failing and should be replaced. I have not replaced it yet, it costs about $200 to have it installed by a mechanic, but should probably do it myself.
