Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). ABS light on - failure to stop the vehicle. I own a chry-Pacifica 2006, ABS light came on while driving the car, just before the light came on, (transition between ABS stopped working and turned to traditional brakes) I was making a left turn, the car instead of stopping kept going and I just missed hitting the oncoming traffic. The failure could have resulted in catastrophic accident. I took the car to get this repaired and was informed that there is a bulletin providing instruction about replacement of sensors for Pacifica, also it suggests it could be covered under warranty based on warranty provisions. Mileage: Around 60,000 the question I have is if Chrysler is aware of the issue why can't they extend warranty on such parts that are related to safety" also, it requires the owner to replace all four sensors - why? is there anything that can bedone to help the customer with this issue" [xxx]

Extreme oil consumption have to put an xtra bottle of oil in every other week...dealership told me nothing they can do and its common on every Pacifica... / ABS sensor problems -light kept turning on randomly and brakes fluttering randomly when trying to stop/ faulty engine temperature sensor- car overheated several times causing major smoke to billow out of hood had to replace sensor/ tie rod replacement before 40K miles/ now gas pedal sticking along with separate terrible engine noises-- sounds like struggling and making a hollow sound as if you are blowing into an empty glass bottle..no one can tell me what is causing it or how to fix it..nothing but a money pit with one problem after another! very upset that Chrysler is getting away with this while we all suffer and keep throwing our hard earned money out the window!
