Car was purchase 05/05 in Toronto, Canada from a Dealer as used (was in rental use) with 36000 km. A few weeks later I took the car back to as the transmission noise (whistling noise at high speed) stated acting up. 1st dealer didn't want to fix the noise, they claim that Chrysler knows about the noise and it is normal. Tried other dealers and the didn't want to fix the noise, they said the same thing too, Chrysler knows about the noise. I was able to get to the transmission mech. at the 1st dealer and he changed a shaft with gears which lower the noise. About 9mths later the noise got louder, same as before replacing the shaft with gears. I am planing to go back to the 1st to fix the noise... Can anyone help, seeing that the dealers are saying that Chrysler knows about the noise. Do you have the same problems and just living with it? I would like to know. I also want to know what can be done to fix the noise. The whistling is at a pict that goes insde your ears. I use the radio to cover the noise.
