02 Chrysler Town and country was rear-ended by another vehicle. Drive seat back complapsed, ejecting driver of Town & Country to rear of van.

When the vehicle hit a bump the 2nd row captains chair became unlatched from the track and came forward. On one occasion the seat was occupied by a child when this occurred and the child sustained minor facial injuries the child's face.

2002 Chrysler Town and country is supposed to be equipped with the latch system in "all rear seating positions". this system (including the tethers) are not present on the 3-passenger seat in this vehicle. The same is true for most of the 2003 Town and country vans in the lot of my car dealer.
