CarComplaints.com Notes: What the heck happened here? A year after getting our "seal of pretty good" for the 2004, Chrysler turns around and delivers this crapwagon.

This minivan has problems ranging from rack and pinion steering failure to door locks that won't let you out. And trust me, you'll want to get out.

Grinding noise from starter on my 2005 Chrysler Town and country when it is cold. Dealership acknowledged that several Chrysler Dodge and Jeep vehicles have this problem. Explained it was a two pieces of the metal starter grinding but it was not going to harm anything. I asked for them to change it under warranty but since they could not reproduce it the next day (surprise) they would not acknowledge that I had a problem. Spoke to customer service and they took the dealers word. I then saw the entry on this site of the same problem. Now I have to chase the problem and take it to another dealership etc. Had a similar problem with a 2000 Chrysler cirrus.
