My airbag warning keeps coming on an you can smell anti freeze. And I have had the air shut down and the engine shut down it starts back up but it is scary. Thank god it has not happened on the freeway.

Single vehicle accident, driver blinded by on coming headlights from another vehicle. We never received a recall, but looks like modular/airbag control unit may corrode & fail, recall S07 for some 2008 vans only. NHTSA reference #16V047000 & number affected 111,519 vans. My VIN# shows no recalls open for it & shows all others have been done. This recall should have been on my van too. Not one airbag went off & we could have been killed. The van is totaled, most damage to front, even bumper is bent right under, what more damage does it take for the airbags to go off. Please check out why mine was not recalled....updated 08/02/17 the consumer stated the vehicle was repaired.
