This van's transmission has shifted "roughly" at times but didn't alarm me really. Just thought it an odd hiccup. Today, 8/26/15, I was backing out of a driveway with a very slight incline and it suddenly just "whirred" like it had slipped into neutral and stopped momentum. I braked, checked to make sure I had selected R properly and I had. So I put it into neutral, then back into Reverse. It began going back but as soon as it started the slight incline, it did the slipping into neutral again! On the 3rd try I "gingerly" coaxed it slowly and was able to back out of the driveway. I just had the transmission serviced only 2 weeks ago. This is NOT a good thing. A transmission doing this before even turning 100,000 miles???
I have seen more complaints now that I have searched online. Wonder just how many have not complained?
