Headlights randomly turn off. At first you could mess with the headlight switch and they would come back on now they will not. They flash about 5 times and neither the headlights or the brights will work. I was driving on the expressway and they shut off this is very scary and dangerous as I could not see a thing. The only lights that will work is the fog lights. I have googled this and it looks like there are numerous complaints. We have tried to replace the headlight switch with no luck the dealership does not know what could be wrong with it. This is very frustrating and there needs to be a recall for these vans this is outrageous!!! we have 3 soon to be 4 small children and this is just not safe, we can not even drive our van at night time due to the fear the headlights will not work. They will work for a day maybe 2 and then go back to not working. Please help!!!

Received recall notice and took vehicle to local dealer for replacement of switch. They advised that switch was not available. They unhooked the switch. We still have not been notified of any replacement parts. Are the parts still unavailable or are we insignificant?

I have been sent two recall notices on my minivan...each time I have called the Chrysler dealership...told do not have the part..will notify when it gets in.....since June of last year until now..they have not been able to get a switch so that my minivan will not burst into flames"???? so my question is, who do I call if or when the fire starts? you or Chrysler... maybe its not a big deal, but when the notice says...may cause fire without warning..do I then, park my minivan outside and not in the garage....don't want to burn down the house..I'm sorry, but its very cold in January in Missouri and that's the purpose of keeping it inside. What is the hold up?? Fiat can't part with some money to fix this....or you guys haven't put any pressure on them to protect the consumer"
