I bought the 2012 van used with 54k miles. Looks really clean and well maintained. Bought on a Saturday and negotiated new tires for it so we picked it up on Monday pm. Drove well that night and the next day. On Wednesday morning, while sitting in a bank teller line, all the dashboard warning lights went crazy, gauges stopped working and windshield wipers started going. We shut the car off and restarted and it started again. Lit up like a Christmas tree, gauges bouncing all over the place and every warning bell going off. It wasn't raining outside, but the wipers were going. Then it stopped.
I called the dealership and told them what was going on and made an appointment to drop it off. Wednesday night I started the car to take it in and the same problem the entire 15 minute drive to the dealership. Wipers, dashboard lights, warning bells... on and off the entire time. The car has been at the dealership for 5 days now without a solution. I have videos of my 15 minute drive with all the craziness. The car is not safe to drive in this condition. Now I see by web searches that this a common issue with this van. Boy, had I known before...
