We got this in Oct 2007 we drove home which was 25 miles away, Transmission went out would not shift at all. Got it replaced the used car lot replaced it. WOW that was cool. Any way it did great for about 7 months then it started not shifting again, only this time it would slip out of the 4th gear into 1st or 2nd, tach would go above 4 RPMs it happens when we go up a little hill, it happens when we come to a stop, slow down, or when ever this piece of crap wants to. We have taken it to the shop poured about $1600 on the transmission repairs it will work for 1 day then it is doing it again, it is to the point we take it in they plug up their little diagnostic tool the check engine light will go off and it will work for about 15 min, then start again the mechanics are now saying they cant find anything wrong and it wont do it for them it is to the point where they think we are imagining stuff. I do not know what the problem is and turning it off resets the computer so I can at least go to the next light, But I say F*k dodge vans. I will never buy a Dodge caravan again. I finally traded the piece of S*t in and stupid me got a 1999 Dodge Durango found this site and alot of problems with it to. Now its too late to trade it back in. I pray that those problems dont exist in this one.
