I have a 2003 Dodge Caravan and pretty much the same thing as the other 2 gripes I see is the matter with mine. The engine wouldn't crank over. The lights on the dash, A/C, wipers everything else was fine. But if you would let it sit for a while it started right up. Let it idle for a while (5minutes) and try to start it again and no juice. It was the strangest thing. I knew it wasn't the battery b/c its only a year old and everything else was working. A red circle on the dash had come on about four months ago then the check gine light came on about a month ago. We disconnected the battery and the check engine light turned off. One mechanic thought it was an alarm problem because of the round shaped light on the dash. I was able to drive it to the dealer and it almost killed over while I was driving it on the highway. The RPM's dropped and as soon as I accelerated again it kept going it was almost as if it wasn't getting enough gas. The tank was full though. I've had this van 3 years and this is the first major thing that's happened to it. However, when I first got it, I took it back about 2 months later b/c the ABS/BRAKE! lights both came on. Back then they RESET the PCM imagine that. I asked if it could be reset again and I was denied that. It has to be replaced this time OUCH! Its now sitting at the dealer, they told me the PCM is the problem when they ran the diagnostics on it. The PCM is on national backorder! How strange is this huh? I asked if there was a recall on it and they said no. WHATEVER! Its probably going to cost me $900 to fix and they also said I'd have to have the throttle flushed later on for another $100. ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!
