Our van looks and runs good but this painful "clunking" noise comes from the front end whenever we go over a bump, frost heave, train tracks or whatever isn't perfectly flat. I've had it checked by a mechanic friend of mine to no avail. If anyone knows how to fix it, please post it. Thanks!

The service dept replaced the power steering rack 4 times, and the anti-rattle clips on the front brake pads, before agreeing with me that it was the sway bar bushings that had to be replaced. Then when I picked up the car, the left tail light was damaged, as well as the left corner of the rear bumper. Now the service dept. has to replace those too!
