The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that the trunk opened independently and the passenger window did not close and roll down independently. The manufacture was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not included in the customer satisfaction repair for the smart glass window switch, which caused the passenger window to open independently, the window not to close securely, the battery to drain, and the engine not to start. Bob baker Dodge (5555 car country drive, carlsbad, ca 92008, (760)-814-9664) determined that the passenger door switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 105,000.

I have a 2010 Dodge Challenger. On 8-3-2011 I went out to go to lunch and noticed my rearview mirror had fallen off. The problem is that it took a plug of windshield with it when it fell. It appears that the windshield could be defective. I'm afraid the whole windshield may just shatter.I have been waiting 2 weeks for an expedited answer from Chrysler. At this time they have not bothered to give me an answer. The dealership took pictures and sent them to Chrysler for a determination. It's starting to look like I'm getting the run around.

My headliner to my new 2010 rt Challenger is hanging down in the back window. The reason is it is not correctly attached. I went my local dealer san marcos Dodge and made them aware of this issue and they said they would not do anything about it because they 'all" come from Dodge that way. They proceeded to show me another new 2010 Dodge Challenger str8 with the same issue. I called Chrysler and they said they would not do anything about it either that's just the way they come. I went to a Dodge forum and since my posting on Feb the 11th I now have found several owners with the same problem. This should be covered under the manufactures warranty under defects in material workmanship. The safety issue is if this headliner drops into the rear window area and we lose sight of traffic a potential accident could take place possibly fatal because I do alot of highway driving in austin tx to san marcos tx to go to work daily. There are numerous large trucks I must navigate daily around. Please check into this since I seem to have little recourse with the dealer or the Chrysler corporation.
