Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Put key in ignition and it would not turn, couldn't shift out of gear. Tried for ten minutes before calling a tow. Driver tried to turn key with no luck. After telling me he probably couldn't get it on the flatbed without possibly messing up the trans he went in the trunk disconnected the battery for a minute. Tried again car started. I had not been notified by the dealer that my car has been recalled. I never received any letter as they said. I found out just by chance on google since my car was acting up way too much. My car is turning off while I am driving on multiple occasions! I have two kids and I was driving at 40 mph. I had to use the E-brake to stop because the power steering didn't work and my power brakes didn't work. At times my car will turn on every light on the speedometer but absolutely nothing is wrong. I asked the manufacturer if they could issue me a rental and they said no. My wife got into an accident a couple of months ago, March, 2015, (we have documents) and good thing it wasn't a severe accident since now we know the air bags will not deploy. Someone hit my wife, it wasn't because of the electrical problems at that time. This car is a casket for my whole family and I suppose they are waiting for a lawsuit first before they do anything. Not only is this car recalled, they don't have the parts yet to fix it! sometimes my car won't even turn on and we get very hot in the car, I keep trying because starts up after a while and my kids and I are stuck in the heat, mind that my kids are 10 months and 2 years old.

It started with the key getting stuck in the ignition, I would have to sit in the car and wait until I hear a clicking noise. I think that's when the key is realeased and I can pull the key out. At first it took as long as 5 to 10 minutes. Now it can take up to three hours, I would leave the key in the car, come back and check on the key to see if I can pull the key out and make sure the car is off. The last time which was 2 weeks ago my battery was drained and I had to get someone to give me a jump. This morning I go to work parked the proceed to put the car in park and pull the key out and the key was stuck as usual. I came back out 30 minutes later to see if the key was released and it was so I pulled the key out the car is turned off. I went to go to lunch and proceeded to put the key in the ignition and the car does not turn on. The battery is working because I have lights and the lock on the doors are working. This is such and inconvience to me and my family.

I was driving down the road going around 30mph when my 2008 Dodge Charger R/T lost all power and stalled. I coasted to the side of the road and waited around five minutes and the car started. Since this happened the ignition want properly start the car it stalls while trying to start. While driving the car looses power and I looked at the recalls there is one for my car but no part to fix this issue. I bought the car used and have no idea about the recalls until researching them. I would really like this problem to be fixed for the safety of me and my family.
