I won't gripe to much about this one, the truck has over 111,000 miles on it. Exhaust, and catalytic converters don't last forever. With all the other problems I've had with this truck, it won't make this one easier to fix.

Catalytic converters are recalled and replaced on about 300,000 Dodge trucks and the general public has not been informed. It was part of the deal made in a law suit between the US EPA and Chrysler. If you do not research the issue you will be expected to pay for a new converter yourself. I had to argue with the dealer in my area because he didn't even know! I had to contact the attorney for the EPA in Washington, DC to get hold of the engineer in Detroit who handled the agreement in this case. The converters are defective!!! It didn't cost me a dime and vehicles with greater than 100,000 miles are being given new converters! Check it out yourself, do a web search for EPA vs. Dodge Truck Catalytic Converters.
