Well now every brake that could lock up, has now locked up and all calipers have been replaced along with rotor, pads, lines...I can't wait to smell that sweet smell of new pads cooking up and see that beautiful cherry red glow of a another caliper...

problem #1

2008Dec 12

Dakota Sport 3.9L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

During the winter months when i first start out in the morning the brakes will lockup suddenly at about 3-5 mph decreasing from 10-15 mph, once the truck's been driven a short distance, 1/2 - 1 mile, this problem disappears. This has happened the past two winters and i've had a brake job in between, go figure.
