Without a tilt wheel anyone over 5'11" cannot see the speedometer without tipping their head sideways or slouching in the seat. This is my third Dakota, when test driving this model I had no problem seeing the gauges etc. They must have had a tilt wheel. I notified the dealer (West Herr Of Orchard Park NY) two days after I picked it up. They gave me every excuse from " it will cost $500.00 to fix but will have to sent back to the factory" to "it is subjective" to "NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM". It has now been two months and nothing has happened yet. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I cannot see the speedometer, anti-lock brake light, oil pressure or high beam indicator. I cannot see the speedometer from about 35 to about 85. No one I spoke to at West Herr had even sat in a similar vehicle.

This truck has no tilt wheel, I'm only 5' 7" and I can't see the speedometer from 50 mph to 80 mph witch really sucks because I just got a speeding ticket for going 76 mph in a 60mph zone which I wouldn't have gotten if I could see the speedometer. I feel this is a safety concern and should be addressed by the manufacture.
