I took my grandson hunting & the transmission OVER Temp lite came on engine shut down we are miles from anywhere no phone service, couldn't tell anyone where we are at back in the hills. We set it started headed home.I took it to Dealer shop they changed the radiator and torque converter and A valve on the transmission. After 3 or 4 days they called said it was fixed. The next weekend my granddaughter and I went hunting, same thing - OVER temp engine shut down .Back to the shop they put on there test equipment called me the next day said it was ready. I ask what they found wrong this time they told me there machine found no problem"But the over temp did register" they said that was all they could do without the equipment telling them. The OVER temp lite came on NUMEROUS times and trans.started slipping on take off I called they wanted it back in to the shop Same thing there test showed over temp. no problem,There test drive detected no slipage in transmission.I checked the work order miles in are the same as out.By this time I missed hunting season.I had A load of wood on the truck the Trans.sliped pretty bad so I left it on and took it in so they could check it out.Good luck with that. Now they tell me the problem is it is overloaded This pissed me off iI ask this dip sh*t If one grand kid and two rifles is overloading this truck?,He just shut up.The over temp lite comes on going down the Hi way now, Nov 27th I backed into my carport started getting out seen flickering on the ground I could tell it was on fire I jumped back in and drove it out of carport. Now Chrysler motors tells me it was no defect on there product and they wont FIX or REPLACE. I thought the lemon law would cover it I thought wrong. Now are these people that dumb or what I have already cost them one sale on a new crewcab I hope this cost them more.
