About a year ago while driving all of the dashboard lights would come on such as check engine light and tire pressure lights. Then these lights would randomly turn off. This would happen on and off for a few months. I had the car diagnosed twice and they found no issues. Now I have not had and issues with the dash lights coming on for about the last 6 month except for now the radio completely blacks out for about 15 seconds and it knocks out my dash board speedometers they all completely drop down to zero and this happens while driving even on the highway. This happens once or twice a day or sometimes everyother day. I cannot see what speed I am going and the pins just stutter.

Hello, my car's windshield wipers will not turn off and windshield washer fluid stopped working about a week ago. I drove it to the repair shop to get an estimate. Dodge Dart driver window does not roll up, also window gets stuck in automatic mode when rolling down. I have purchased a new motor and a new switch but issue still continues. There are multiple forums that customers discuss this same issue. If you take the switch board apart there is some faulty soldering that could be affecting the window from rolling back up. The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. While driving and making a left turn, the windshield wipers engaged independently and have not shut off. The failure occurred after the turn signal was activated. In addition, the sprayers for the wiper fluid did not work, which affected the contact's visibility while driving. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that they could not assist until the multi function control switch was shipped and no longer on backorder. The manufacturer claimed to not be aware of the failure even though the contact found a lot of information about it online. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 89,500.

The transmission has gone out after the gasket was replaced at the Dodge dealer as a recall. It will not change gears and tries to start out in 4th gear. When you do get it to pull itself the RPM's are 3.5. the dealer ships say's that they could not have caused the issue but it ran fine before the transmission had the recall replacement of the transmission cable. The cruise control works only if you set it as soon S you start the car, if you don't it will not engage or come on. There is a check engine light that comes on and even when it is on the dealership cannot find any trouble codes. This is GT and I love the car but it does not run 80% of the time.

I purchased my Dodge Dart at 21,000 miles. 30,000 miles car shuts off on highway. Total power loss. Dodge was able to limit the problem however ran rough and at about 45000 miles car shifted hard now at 70000 Dodge tells me it's the transmission valve body. 3,000 dollar repair. At this point car is not worth 3000. Still shuts off completely while driving. Transmission control module is recalled for the 2013 Dart however not my VIN# "???" I see tons of people with the same issues even cases against Dodge for this model. However they are unwilling to help me out with any issues I bring to their attention. Unfortunate. For me.

I was driving down the highway when it was raining then it stopped then it started up again and went to turn on my wipers and they wouldnt turn on, so I called a buddy of mine thats a mechanic and he told me its probly the steering column ribbon broke and sure enough I took it to Dodge and thats what it was. This should be recalled for a defect and should be replaced at no charge this is a almost $500 part to replace it.

I'm told there is a bushing that will fix this problem, but Dodge refuses to provide this part to my local dealer. The bushing is designed to cause the car to know it is in park so it will start. I'm also told this is a recall issue, but I received no recall notice from Dodge.

While driving the screen will randomly go completely black and then start flickering white - my dash is now doing the same, simultaneously. However, the screen lights (speed, miles, mpg, etc) stay dim to where I can't even read what is says. My speedometer and gauges will give out and then proceed to quickly flicker up and down. After about 30 seconds of this happening, the whole electronic system resets itself. This has happened 5 times within the last two days, within a maximum of 4 total hours driving time. When starting my car, it hesitates to start - it makes clicking noises prior to actually starting. The battery is fairly new as well. My center console randomly stops working, I have zero control over the radio / climate function. Even after disconnecting the battery, the problem resumes. The uconnect doesn't work - no phone system, or bluetooth music. The back-up camera has completely gone out. There seems to be several issues with the Dodge Dart that go unsolved and are a huge safety risk.

I bought a Dodge Dart 2013 limited edition (or was talked into it by your salespeople) I wanted this to be my last car and I actually really liked it. Then I started having transmission problems with the car shifting into neutral randomly. I took it to a Dodge dealer but the problem persisted. This happened three times and they said they did everything they could. A lemon law firm contacted me and said they could replace the car if I had 3 occurrences with receipts which I submitted to them. They said Chrysler was giving me $3900. I was confused because I thought they were giving me enough to replace the car. They explained Chrysler didn't want to do that. I actually forgot about it (that was 2016) and thought the issue had been fixed so I was happy. Now this past July 4th 2019 my transmission problems have returned. My car has 48,000 only and not even the Dodge extended warranty (which I wanted to now purchase) do not cover 2013 models. That speaks volumes to me. They know they sold me a lemon and one that is not safe. I can't afford a new car and have now learned that lemons are bought and sold back to the public. I will never buy or speak well about Chrysler again. You are a fraudulent company. I wanted a Honda originally but was talked out of it by neighbors who work for Chrysler. I will be calling deena centofanti from channel 2 fox to tell her I was sold an unsafe car and I am stuck with it. They already know that Chrysler knew the system design was faulty in 2012 but released the 2013 anyway. Shameful.

Car will not start. It will turn on but not start the car. Battery and starter were replaced. Mechanic noted that the fuse box was hot, even thought the engine was cool. He feels that it could be the computer or fuse box. The car will sometimes start. But, I have been stranded and cannot rely on it to start. Computer diagnosis does not come up with anything. Reaching out to the Dodge Dart owners community, this seems to be a known problem. So far, no one know what to do. The dealership wants to charge a great deal of money on computer diagnostics when it won't help.
