bought the 2014 Dodge Dart Rallye in Julyt 2014. The engine light was on. I called the dealership and they said not to worry it could be the gas cap was opened. Light went off. Then Dec 2014 the engine completely blew and was filled with oil sledge. After 30 + days they replaced the engine. Feb 2015 the car would not start. After several tries a loud noise and puff of white smoke came from the engine. I brought the car directly to the dealership. They had the car for a day and said there were no codes. car is fine it could be condensation. A month later the electric would not work . It would turn off on on depending what gear I was in. Took it to the dealership and after waiting 3 hours in the waiting room I left with the car. I took the car in to service several times after that because the engine was so loud I could not hear the radio. And the gears felt very tight when shifting. They said the loud noise was because of the tires and they needed to be replaced. I replaced the tires but issue still exists. Each time I took it into service they made me feel very uncomfortable and they didn't want to deal with me. I felt Like i was complaining over nothing. I knew the car had something wrong with it. I never felt safe after the new motor. Then on Nov 29, 2015 on a Sunday evening the transmission completely blew to pieces. I had my 3 kids in the car. There was such a loud noise and metal shooting everywhere. I pulled to the side and shut the engine off and we ran for our lives! Huge puff of white smoke and liquid all over the place. Monday morning the car was towed to the dealership. Tuesday they called and said it was not covered under Warranty because it was caused by driver error. Said I or someone was driving the car rough.... I am a mother in her 40's with 3 kids and use my car for my real estate business. I have no idea what rough driving is. He couldn't explain it either. now my car sits with over 4k in damages to the motor and trans and not to mention with all the bullet like holes from the bolts exploding all over the place.
