Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

It starts with a dummy light... then you go start getting estimates starting at $1700. Cracked heads need to be replaced, intake needs replaced. It has to be done or you can't keep driving it. Along with all the other problems - bad ball joints that wear out the tires in half the time. The axle broke YES PEOPLE BROKE WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND ALMOST HIT A TREE WHEN IT SPUN OUT. Chrysler says Durango has no recalls for these problems and it my problem now that my truck can't be sold/ traded in and needs several thousand dollars worth of repairs. I think they should at least send the parts to repair it with since there are several thousand of these trucks with the same problems. Oh I forgot to mention it's dead again the water pump died last week while I was driving to work.
