hi i have 2000 dodge durango 5.9 and the check engine light is on. i already had a code that was on before and i thought it was a bad ecm.so i changed the ecm and now i have 2 new codes. p0753 shift solenoid p0443 evaporative emission. They are telling me that the transmission might be on it's way out.The transmission cost more than the truck is worth, if anyone has any cheap idea on fixing it let me know. I will never buy another one of these pieces of junk again.

After the check engine light came on, a diagnostics test pointed to the O2 sensors. After replacing both, the check engine light problem was never really fixed. After spending about $2000 to have Dodge's electricians find the problem, they finally found that a grounding wire connecting the body of the car to the engine had broken off. Simply reattaching fixed the problem.

Check engine light on, with no noticeable problem. Code was for lock up & overdrive solenoids. One place recommended overhaul trans. The place that repair it said solenoids would fix the problem. It didn't. Light on again at 101000 mi. Electronic pressure control solenoid out now. Recommended overhaul. Anyone else with this problem? What to do?
