This is a pia problem. I am afraid to take it to the dealer, as I do not know how much it will cost to get it fixed.

(reported on)

Durango SLT+

  • 103,100 miles

Would not start after shutting -off engine, found that starter relay was not getting a ground from TRS assy in tranny, by-passed ground with a jumper so that I could start Durango. Eventualy, code 1899 (park-neutral switch defective) set and tranny went into Limp-Home Mode and would not shift out of high gear. Had the TRS assy replaced and tranny now works good. $636.00 to fix (part is $385.00).
