Durango SLT + 4.7L Magnum V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

My 2003 Durango stalls all the time but is much worse in warm weather. It stalls when I am slowing down or idling. It can be re-started right away but can have this problem 5-6 times a day. I've had it in to the dealership many times and they say they can't duplicate the problem and they tell me they have never heard of this problem before. Dodge cleaned the throttle body and flushed the fuel injectors but it didn't help with the problem. If anybody has any ideas or has had this problem with their Durango I would appreciate your help.

It all started with it just being hard to start, but not all the time.... you just never know. Now it has begun to die and that is random as well. You may be turning a corner or going down the road and whammo... it dies.
