Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

My wife and I have a concern with our 2007 model as to the proximity of the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal. When the brake pedal is pushed I can also push the accelerator pedal at the same time, if I am not careful. I'V done it more times that I want to, but mostly in our garage when I start the car and push the brake to put it in gear to back out....updated 01/29/15

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Durango. While pulling into a tire shop parking lot, the contact's foot slipped off the brake pedal and onto the accelerator pedal. The vehicle drove into the tire shop wall and through the showroom floor. An employee sustained a broken leg. A police report was filed. The contact stated that the brake and accelerator pedals were too close and should be spaced apart. The failure mileage was 20,000.
