problem #2

Grand Caravan LE 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 195,732 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

First off the vehicle stops running at any speed. After sitting for a few minutes it restarts. But it will happen 2 or 3 times aday. The dash will stop working, no speedo, no tach, no fuel gage. It you hit the dash in front of the speedo, it will sometimes come back on. Now the Body Control Module has died and when it quit I was on the road, and everything came to a halt. Very dangerous. Is there anything that can be done?

Grand Caravan ES 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 43,000 miles

The First BCM caused havoc with the speedometer and the engine running only intermittently, The Second BCM repair was same. The THIRD however, apparently caused the van to just plain Stop in the middle of the highway at 55mph!
