You bet your sweet Aunt Bessy there should have been a recall. This is a defect,that has safety issues. (Can you say...Law suit) $300.00 Is a big chunk of change. It's not like the old day's,when all you had to do was change out the bulb's. I fixed my problem with X-FINE buffing compound and a light touch on the buffing wheel. How ever this is a temp. fix and will need to be redone every year or two. So save your buffing pad and compound for the next goround.
