Grand Caravan EX 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission

Cruise control randomly disengages. Sometimes it shows as powered on, but I can't re-engage when pressing set. Other times, it disengages & powers off completely. In all cases, once the engine has been shut off & then restarted again, the power will come back on, and I can again attempt to engage the cruise. I live in Houston - our only hills are the interstate overpasses, so incline shouldn't be the issue. There have been recalls on the older models of the Grand Caravan for the coilspring, noting the same types of problems for failing cruise control. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the 4th generation Grand Caravan?

In the last 2 years, have replaced the fuel pump& filter assembly, complete transmission.
