I took the van into the dealer for an oil change and they told me that the tie rod ends were bad and that they would replace them under the warranty. The van had only 30,000 miles on it. Never in my life have I had tie rod ends go bad.
Now 9,000 miles later and 2 weeks out of the warranty on the replacement tie rods I find that the replacement tie rods are bad. Rather than go back to the dealer I will replace them myself with quality parts. Also found out that they were not greasing the ball joints because you have to pull the wheels to get at the fittings.
