While driving, cars engine turns to accessory, no power steering. Have to stop car and restart. This is an issue with the win module and key fob ignition and should have been part of a recall but, it slipped through the cracks and the manufacturer will not realize the fact that my car was built on May 26th 2010 and should have a recall applied to vehicles built through June 18, 2010. Which mine was but, my VIN number reports no issue. I've contacted Dodge and they have not authorized the dealership to cover any costs. This has almost caused accidents 3 times now. It sickens me how big dealerships can get away with negligence and allow possible deaths because of mistakes and not following proper recall procedures. Shop won't get me in until weeks later and will not do anything until they charge me diagnostic fees even though this is/was a known issue. I've wasted hours on the phone with Dodge and the dealership and I'm sure the dealership is about to rip me off with diagnostic fees trying to replicate this known issue. Please force Dodge to re-investigate their work of the recalls of this model before other people with this missed recall issue get hurt. Here is some information which may help speed up this process: NHTSA campaign number: 14V373000 NHTSA campaign number: 11V139000 thank you in advance for your time and efforts. I have had to replace the catalytic converter 3 times already. I went this month to get a safety inspection and was told it is the catalytic converter again. Do you have a recall on catalytic converter for this vehicle?

Few just a few of original purchase the engine started to kill for no apparent reason. It was taken to the dealer many times, they say they could not find a problem. Finally there were a few recalls. Problem of engine killing was solved, but then all electrical components would kill, took to dealer several times, again they no indication of an event. Not till after it was out of warranty and the exist problems continued didthey say they found the problem, they said it was the timp. Replaced for $1200, w 24 month warranty on new timp. No that new timp is acting up. Kills all electrical and engine, when taken to dealer, naturally no record of events in storage unit. This happening random for no apparent reason.serious safety problem.

2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 4.0L has stalled 4 times while driving speeds of 15mph, 30mph and twice at 45mph. When the vehicle stalls you lose power steering and power brakes. The radio still works and the only thing that appears on instrument panel is the stability control light. The first time it happened I pulled over and restarted the car, now I shift into neutral and restart. I have had 2 recalls completed on ignition switch and I only use the one key so it is not the weight of key chain. This is supposed to be a family car and now my wife will not drive for fear of this happening with kids in vehicle and causing an accident. Come on Chrysler/Dodge your better than this... well at least I thought you were! I have an appointment but I know I will get a run around and no one will have every heard about this problem, but its all over every forum discussion.

The tipm (totally integrated power module) is either defective, or damaged from weather exposure. Sparatic power issues are present causing odd things to go wrong, from the battery being drained, to backlight flickering on the dash, to upon exiting the vehicle attempting to lock vehicle to only have it unlock again, to also upon locking, having the front windows randomly go down.

Vehicle is stalling out without warning. I have noticed it is a common problem with the vans from Dodge and Chrysler. It is dangerous to drive, it stalls in traffic at idle or when pulling into traffic. When it stalls sometimes it will activatee the esp light and set off multiple obd2 codes, orbit will stall and not set off any lights.

We have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with 133,000 miles and since the day we got it back in July all it has done while driving is shut down/shut itself off. Lights on dashboard will come on, flash and van will just shut down. Key refuses to come out at times, have no hazard lights when this happens, and it can take anywhere from 5-30 minutes for the van to even start again. This happens on the interstate and in the city, doesnt matter really where we are, even at stop lights/stop signs

My 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan began having issues about 6 months ago. The ABS light would light up and beep on and off and was taken to the dealership and they stated they could not determine the problem without it occuring at that time. As months went on the problem became worse. All the dashboard lights began turning on and off headlights would dimmer, clock and radio would shut off. Took to a few mechanics and none could determine the problem. The problem got worse battery light began staying lit. We then replaced the battery and the battery cables. The problems persisted, we took to another mechanic who stated the alternator needed to be replaced. We replaced the alternator and the vehicle was fine for three weeks, then the problem started again all the lights lit up, the air went in and out, the radio shut off and out of nowhere the car shut off while about to turn at an intersection with my children in the van. We have taken the vehicle to many different mechanics even the dealership and none of them can determine what is causing this issue. Through the internet I see that we are not alone with this problem. I don't know what to do besides attempt to get rid of the vehicle. This is the vehicle I bought to Transport my children; I've been paying for rental cars because I'm scared to drive it. With as many complaints as I've seen for this issue you would think there should be a recall. Someone is going to be seriously hurt or dead if they don't do something about this.

We received safety recall notice. Called dealership to schedule repairs, was told they would call back when parts came in. Several months later, no call. Called another dealership and was told the same. It has probably been close to a year and haven't heard back from either dealership.

My van just shut off while doing 55 mph on a highway. No warning signs or check engine lights came on. I had no steering, gas, or breaks when it shut off. The a few days later all the lights on the dash came on then went off but never shut off until a few blocks later when it turned off while driving on a street. And everytime it shuts off I put it in park take the keys out and then restart the van and it acts like nothing ever happened.

I have had my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan for 1 year. First the alternator went out then the key module then the transmission then the shifting harnesses cable and now the lights keep blinking on and off and the van feels like it has no power the battery was just changed a month ago. This has been the worst vehicle ever and we are scared that it is going to cause a deadly accident. The vehicle gets stuck in gears. And and now keeps shutting off and the headlights keep blinking on and off as well as all the lights in the van. If these are know issues why has there not been a total recall on all these vehicles before a deadly accident does happen. Or is it going to take someone to actually die before something is done about all the known issues the makers of these vehicles are aware of.

Our 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled 14 times this holiday weekend (more than usual). It stalls at any speed and at any time (warm or cold) and loses all power. Have you ever had to shift a vehicle into neutral at 70 mph and restart it on an expressway in holiday traffic (with no power steering or power brakes)? well it really puts the family in a jolly mood. Dealer claims not to be able to figure it out (because the error codes are not recorded in the vehicle computer since there is no power). Based on all of the exact same complaints I see for this vehicle, it's obvious to me that it's a totally integrated power module (tipm) issue. Any idiot performing a little research on google can figure it out. However, NHTSA can't seem to figure it out. See NHTSA action number: DP14004. NHTSA ' there's enough complaints out there to support further investigation. Feel free to contact me if you want to take our rolling death trap for a fun-filled family trip.

The vehicle continued running after pulled key out of ignition. Problem was with win module which was apparently part of a recall that involved 2006-2010 Grand Caravan models, although somehow my 2010 Grand Caravan isn't included in the recall. The woman at the dealer said it was the third one of the day, but mine was the only one that didn't fall under the recall.

While driving my car it just shuts off on me at random times. I never know when it is going to happen. It has happened 5 times in 2 months. I found a recall online for this same thing but my dealer is telling me they are VIN number specific and my VIN says there is no recall so they won't fix it. Please help me get this so ed before I have an accident and injure myself or someone else. Thanks.

Engine stalls while driving in motion-so far has only occurred while driving on city streets but is becoming more frequent.originally seemed to occur only when not fully warmed up but now is happening at regular operating temperatures also.it has happened both while making turns and while traveling in a straight line. I often don't notice it has occurred until I try to accelerate or turn and discover the loss of power steering and that the tachometer is on "O" rpms. It has become a regularly re-occurring annoyance and has obvious danger potential. I took the car to a dealership for the recall on the win module and was told that the brand of module that this vehicle contained was not the one they were having problems with and would therefore not replace it. They also claimed that the problem we were having was not related to that part. Checking online I find that I am far from the first owner of these vehicles experiencing this problem and that Chrysler Corp. Seems to be in denial of a problem and is at a loss as to correction of the problem. Please add my complaint to the growing list of unresolved complaints relating to this vehicle.

While driving the van will just shut off therefore losing all power steering and brakes. The only warning light that comes on is the traction control light. This has happened on country roads and in the city. Sometimes it will do it while turning a curve and other times just driving straight down the road. The curves are the most dangerous since we lose all power. It has happened multiple times in one day and sometimes not for days. We have had the ignition switch recall performed with no results to the problem. We have had it at 3 different places trying to find a solution with no results. They say because no warning lights come on there is no way to diagnose the problem. This is a huge safety issue that needs resolved immediately. I know we are not the only ones with this problem.
