I think that is enough to tell you this model has defects too many to mention. I think Dodge should allow some sort of renumeration on repairs or a nice reasonable discount on future purchases since this is my second Dodge.
Hood latch failed to open when pulled due to poor assembly. The hood on this vehicle needs to be dropped in order to engage the hood lock. Nevertheless, the dealer felt that the hood latch mechanism broke "due to lack of maintenance" and not poor manufacturing practices. It is inherently dangerous to have an unreliable hood latch mechanism because it makes it nearly impossible to fix any emergency engine problems. This part should be fail-proof throughout the life of the vehicle as long as the hood has not been in an accident.
