I will never buy another Chrysler product again. Bought a 1996 Dodge Intrepid in 1999 with 50K miles on it. Over the next 6 years I spent $1000 of dollars in repairs to fix the front end suspension, replaced 4 water pumps, manifold gaskets, and numerous engine sensors. The right rear window stopped working, the interior molding was always coming apart, hoses deteriorated in just months that should have lasted longer, front hood gas shocks had to be replaced. Finally that thing just stopped working one Sunday and never started again. 8 days and 3 auto shops later, one of which was a Dodge dealership, I sold it for the tow bill and diagnostic fee. the Dodge Dealership here in Lawrence KS never did find out what was wrong with it. Now Daimler is trying unload Chrysler. They have seen the writing on the wall. Chrysler will be a quaint memory in 20 years or less.
