The ABS system got wet and shorted out the electrical system. It seems it may have been a recall earlier that was done but obviously it has failed again. Was driving and all lights and beepers went off. My abscandvtraction control and brake sensor and cruise control and park assist and engine and brake lights are all on and it now won-??t start easy. It-??s a mess and at the dealer who says they won-??t help fix

The acceleration stopped, the lightening light, traction light and skid light all came on and would not accelerate. Car was on but no gas pedal in the middle of the highway. Oil was changed a week before and no leaks on ground but oil is low. It is very dangerous as it has done this several times over the last month and has caused me to almost be in several wrecks because speed drops and cars almost rear end me. Have replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor twice no in a month.

Started the car, the check engine light was on and the traction control light was on. Check engine light code said lost communication with steering sensor. The windshield wipers were at full speed and could not be turned off. All controls on the steering wheel were not working. I lost the use of my blinker and horn. Making my car unsafe to drive. It happens at random times and I-€™m not able to use my remote start.

Looking back the issue started about one month prior to warning lights came on when I had to brake quickly, but not really "slamming" on the brakes and they seemed to "lock-up". Luckily I had plenty of room between myself and the car in front of me. It never happened again so I thought it was a fluke. Thirty days or so later, I started the engine and everything was fine but after about 20 feet down the road, the brake, ABS, and traction lights all came on. Went back home, turned off the engine, went inside to ask husband to come look and when he turned engine back on and he tried driving it around the corner but the lights did not come back on. The issue continued with the lights going on and go off, when they are on the cruise control is inoperable. We took it to Autozone to see if we could find out what might be going on and we were told that we would need to take it to a Dodge dealership. It took several weeks for them to fit us in, but when they took in we were told it was an internal short in the ABS module and would need to be replaced. We were also told that it would be 3 months before they could even order it. While we have been waiting to safely use our vehicle I have been researching and found that there is a recall on other 2015 Dodge Journeys (R61) for issue with the ABS module for just the reason we are having to replace ours. In checking our VIN, it states that our vehicle is not covered under the recall, but not only am I questioning that should it be and there might be many other vehicles on the road with the issue and they won't know it until it is too late since ours had a scary event prior to warning lights ever coming on. I also do not think we should have to pay over $1,000 for an issue covered under a recall.

This vehicle constantly shakes at about the 50 mph. Engine light starts to come on and there is a hesitation to accelerate. This is extremely dangerous and I read several others issues with the misfire. Something needs to be done before others are hurts... very serious issue

There is a recall on 2015 Dodge Journeys for the wiring on the ABS system that causes the wires to get corroded and the ABS not working. I have recently had the issue described in the recall yet my vehicle does not qualify for the recall and my local Dodge repair center want me to pay $1800 to repair something that should be fixed under the recall and now I have a vehicle that I can not drive or I risk having an accident

While driving the vehicle in a wet parking lot the ABS light and stability light came on and remained on. This has also affected the cruise control as well. There was a recall on Dodge Journeys from 2012-2015 for the same issue VIN may need included in the recall.

The 2015 Dodge Journey R/T AWD. I purchased this SUV 2 years ago and now while the vehicle is in drive and in motion on streets and highways the second it touches 20 mph and up it is making this" revving noise" as if it is in another gear and it's only in drive! this SUV is not that old to have such issues happening now. Its not right when the consumer is spending their money for a SUV that is giving them issues so early into the purchase. Dodge needs to recall this vehicle!! and anyone even thinking of purchasing this SUV. Honestly don't... run out of any dealership selling this 2015 Dodge Journey R/T AWD SUV! the only Journey you will take will be back to the dealership with issues!
