My ABS lights came on over the course of the last year 5 different times and went out without repair work. The lights finnally came on and would not go out. I replaced the ABS controller without issue, however I am the curious type. I opened the controller box to examine (post mortem if you will) and found a classic case of non-lead solder tin whisker groth shorting out several points on the board.
