when i bought this car it was running rough and often died unexpectedly or when i got to a certain speed. it often took me hours to get 10 miles because it died so much. so i hooked an obd-II scanner up to it and found the solution to be that the ignition coil was fried. being a mechanic i knew to dig deeper and found that either my crankshaft or camshaft position sensor was bad so i just replaced both. wanting to avoid this from happening ever again. all three parts were rather cheep.

when i turn my 1997 dodge neon on it works fine unless you push the speed over 60kmh it will shut the car off automatically if you drive it under 50kmh it will be fine until 20min after driving it will eventually shut off, took it to my mechanic and its been there for 5days now and still he is telling me he still does not know why the car is doing that. if anybody has had a car problrm like this where your car just dies out and cant turn it on for about 3seconds after it shuts off then when u start driving again it will just turn off and you have to keep repeating the steps to get to your destination.
