Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The contact owns a 1998 Dodge Neon. While driving 30 mph, the contact could not stop the vehicle when the brakes were applied. The vehicle was inspected and a rusted brake line was discovered, which squirted brake fluid everywhere. This was the first time this failure occurred. The road conditions were not a factor. The vehicle was not repaired before or after the failure. The failure mileage was 105,000.

I have a 98 Dodge Neon. The car grinds in the front end even with new brakes. I cant not drive throw water or the car will die. Going over a speed bump at the recommended speed the front end will bottom out. I had a friend look at the car. And he said it looked fine. The brake spec. Didn't see any thing and I noticed I had two different tires on the front then the back because of the front end. Please if you find out any thing on this car it would be much obliged.
