A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

3 TRANSMISSIONS SINCE 08 AND EACH TIME IT WAS THE SAME DAMN THING. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I HAD AAA BRING IT TO MY MECHANIC AND THEY LOOKED AT IT HAD IT APART ABOUT TO FIX IT WHEN THEY FOUND OUT IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY SO THEY ENDED UP HAVING TO SEND IT OVER TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP. EVEN THO IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY I STILL HAD TO PAY ALMOST 175 TO MY MECHANIC FOR THEIR LABOR. IT ALL HAPPENED LITTLE AFTER I GOT MY TAXES BACK, THE NEXT TIME IT HAPPENED WAS IN 2010 AGAIN AFTER I GOT MY TAXES. IT COST ME OVER 2500.00 THAT WAS INCLUDING LABOR AND PARTS, THE THIRD TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS ON MY WAY TO PIC UP MY BROTHER FROM WORK AND WHEN I STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT AND THEN WENT TO GO AND IT JUST SOUNDED LIKE I WAS IN NEUTRAL. I KNEW RIGHT THEN AND THERE I WAS PISSED. I COULD HAVE DROVE IT INTO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP THEMSELVES. THANK GOD FOR HONEST MECHANICS, THIS TIME IT ONLY COST ME THE PARTS AND THEY DIDN'T MAKE ME PAY FOR THEIR TIME BUT THEY DID GIVE ME A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON MY CAR FOR FREE, SOMETHING DODGE CANT EVEN LIVE UP TO... MAKING THEIR CUSTOMERS HAPPY. TOO BAD CAUSE I KNOW NEXT TIME A FRIEND ASKS ME HOW I LIKE MY CAR I'M GONNA TELL THEM DETAIL FOR DETAIL EVERYTHING THAT HAS WENT WRONG WITH IT IN 5 YEARS. AND HONESTLY FOR DODGES F*CK UP THEY SHOULD BE THE ONE GIVING ME BACK ALMOST 3500 DOLLARS CAUSE THEY TOOK AWAY FROM MY KIDS AND I'M NOT TO HAPPY ABOUT THAT CAUSE I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY FOR A RENTAL THE WHOLE TIME MY CAR WAS IN THE SHOP. AND THAT IS ANOTHER THING I DON'T THINK I NEED TO PAY OUT OF MY ASS FOR, INSURANCE TO GET THE BEST SERVICE EITHER THE WAY THIS ECONOMY IS RIGHT NOW.

Neon

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,671 miles

I bought this car from the Dayton-Ford dealer in Dayton, New Jersey in January 11, 2006 as a certified car. I was very happy to drive this car. I took care of the car - regularly changing the oil, checking the tires, etc. On July 14, 2007 I noticed a malfunction in the automatic transmission in my car. I immediately made an appointment at AAMCO in New Brunswick a company witch specialized in transmission repairs. AAMCO found a big problem with my transmission and started to fix it. The total cost for the repaired transmission was $3,064.88 (see attached invoice No. 138874), which I had to pay to AAMCO. My car has low mileage: 45,671 and isnt very old its from 2002. I think the cost for the repairing this serious damage should be covered by the Dodge Company because this malfunction was not my fault.
