Neon
my car is a 2005 neon that i had purchased brand new in jan of 2006. at the end of april 2007, my car started overheating. so i did what u r supposed to, pulled it over, called for towing, because you obviously can't drive it like that. i never thought in a million years that the problem would be as bad as it was. i thought, i'll just check my fluids, or maybe it's the thermostat. surely it couldn't be anything major when i'd only had the car for a little over a year. yeah. it was a cracked head gasket. and it took about 3 weeks and having it towed in four times later for my dealership to fix it. and i was in my brother's wedding during this time. and i had to fight for the loaner car my dealership had promised me. i come from a family of mechanics. my dad and my uncle guessed what the problem was before the dealership discovered it on their freaking machine. oh, and back to the wedding, because of the problems i was unable to make my fitting for my dress, and anything i was originally supposed to do fell on my sister. and my dress didn't fit. so i was miserable the entire day at my brother's wedding.
