Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

After filling up my 2007 Dodge Nitro gas spew out with force on myself and the side of the SUV. When unlocking or locking my vehicle sometime the cooling fan and radio will turn on. Both of my back windows don't not work.

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Nitro. The contact stated that the engine sporadically failed without warning. It usually takes approximately thirty seconds before the vehicle will restart. The dealer stated that the ABS signaled the engine to fail. The dealer repaired the ABS. Nine months later, while driving at an unknown speed, all of the warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel and the vehicle failed. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls for that component, but she could take the vehicle to a local dealer for inspection. The failure mileage was 7,000 and current mileage was 13,792.
