I own a 1995 dodg Ram 1500 pick-up.. I was driving at a speed of 50mph when I wanted to come to a stop I almost didnt stop and nearlly crashed into someone luckly I was able to swerve and not hit them, my brakes had almost failed.. I get home and look under my truck for leaks in brake lines, I find that my line was cracked right under neath were the back of the cab meets the front bed of the truck.. the line runs on top of the frame and right below the bed of the truck to me it seems like the line is not supported well and do to maybe from bouncing up and down in the line caused wear and tear on the line from the metal on the bottom of the bed of the truck.. I have seen numerous staements from peole on the internet haveing same issues also and nearly crashing, I feel there should be a recall of some sort on this issue and be taking care of before someone else crashes and possibly killing or hurting another person.. now I have to spend $200 to get it fixed with money I dont have.. seriously something needs to be done about this... also my brake lines are excellent all around the truck and have no rust..
