Headlights go on and off while driving, result is relay in switch melts and catches fire.

smelled electrical burn, immediately pulled over and was towed home. Found the switch for the head lights had a loose prong and was ready to start a fire. Replaced but the steering wheel has to stay in a certain position and the lever on the column not touched or the lights go out!
