Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Is a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 susposed to come out of park without touching the brake pedal? the truck came out of gear from park to reverse and caused $2500 worth of damage. The engine was running in this case. However, my 3 year old granddaughter was able to take the truck from park to reverse while standing on the seat. The truck was parked at that time on a inclining driveway so it rolled only to the street. Chevrolet products, I know, have a safety feature which requires the break pedal to be pressed in order for the vehicle to come out of park.
